  • Bread Salvage
    Bread Salvage is a program under the Housing and Hunger umbrella program. We collect leftover bread from the Cromwell Freihofer's outlet and deliver it to three Middletown elementary schools: Snow, Macdonough, and Farm Hill.
  • Catholic Student Organization (CSO)
    The Catholic Student Organization is a student-run collective of Catholic students who seek to live out their Christian commitment in a faith community that emphasizes respect, dignity, and friendship. Although distinctively Catholic, we respect all religious traditions and welcomes all those who wish to share their talents and gifts.
  • Challah for Hunger

    We are Wesleyan's chapter of the national Challah for Hunger association. We get together to make challah and then sell it with the proceeds going to food pantries in the area and across the country. Our goal is to work together, make challah, raise awareness about food insecurity, and help support food pantries.

    Our hourly baking blocks are on Thursdays from 4pm-9pm and we sell bread on Fridays from 11am-2pm!

  • Jewish Voice for Peace
    Jewish Voice for Peace members are inspired by Jewish tradition to work together for peace, social justice, equality, human rights, respect for international law, and a U.S. foreign policy based on these ideals. JVP opposes anti-Jewish, anti-Muslim, and anti-Arab bigotry and oppression. JVP seeks an end to the Israeli occupation of the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and East Jerusalem; security and self-determination for Israelis and Palestinians; a just solution for Palestinian refugees based on principles established in international law; an end to violence against civilians; and peace and justice for all peoples of the Middle East.
  • Long Lane Farm

    Long Lane Organic Farm is Wesleyan's student-run organic farm. Throughout the year, we grow and sell a variety of vegetables, fruits, herbs, and value-added products. We have a stand at the NEAT Farmer's Market, sell produce to Bon Appetit, and host community events and programs such as PumpkinFest and the Middletown Food Project.

    We have Community Work Day on Saturdays from 10am-2pm at 243 Long Lane and our Collective Meeting on Sundays at 5pm in Boger 110

  • Mindfulness @ Wesleyan
    Mindful Wes aims to bring conscious awareness to ourselves, our community and our environment by offering spaces to practice meditation, yoga and more. There are a variety of mindfulness events offered each week, such as a Sitting and Walking meditation, interpersonal "Circling" meditation, Vinyasa yoga, and more. We also put on programs throughout the semester such as gratitude yoga, mindful meals and other community events. We hope to help students build tools to manage stress and find joy in the present.     The Muslim Students Association is a collective for Muslim identifying students on campus. Our mission is to support Muslim students on campus regardless of race, nationality, sect, gender, or sexual orientation and to facilitate activities that promote dialogue surrounding Islam and Muslims to the wider campus.

    Wes Sangha is a community of students with a common devotion to meditation, compassionate action, and spiritual growth and exploration. As a community, we meditate, listen to dharma talks, go on retreats and trips, and organize campus meditation events. All are welcome, regardless of cultural or religious background.
  • Wesleyan Chabad Student Group

    A student group to provide organizational structure for students to learn about Jewish heritage, partake in cultural events, and have the opportunity to participate in educational events throughout the school year, all in an open and non-judgmental atmosphere.

    Climate Ambassadors is a campus outreach group that raises awareness about sustainability issues, particularly issues related to climate change. We host faculty panels, film screenings, fund raisers, concerts and participate in local and national campaigns for climate policy change.

  • Wesleyan Connecticut Park and Forest Association
    WesCFPA is a partnership between the University and Connecticut Forest & Park Association. We help to maintain hiking trails across the state, promote environmental conservation, and get people out on hikes!
  • Wesleyan for Women and Children (WesWAC)
    WesWAC is a student-run collective committed to advocating support and resources for pregnant women, infants, and children. Through community service and supporting resource and adoption centers, we show our dedication to a life-affirming outlook. All are welcome to join and become involved.
  • Wesleyan Interfaith Council
    The Inter-Faith Council seeks to facilitate greater inter-religious awareness and understanding, cooperation and community at Wesleyan among the diverse religious and spiritual groups and individuals on campus. We seek to accomplish this through relationships and programming designed to encourage spiritual growth, ethical reflection, interfaith and intercultural dialogue, community service, and social action.
  • Wesleyan Jewish Community
    The Wesleyan Jewish Community (WJC) is Wesleyan's student-run Jewish community. Our student leadership va’ad (committee) is chaired by the Jewish Community Coordinators (JCCs) and made up of eleven kesharim (links) who oversee the various areas of Jewish life on campus.The WJC has holiday events, social events, and plans all kinds of programming around social justice, learning, and fun.
  • Wesleyan Nigun Circle

    The Wesleyan Nigun Circle meets weekly to sing nigunim - soulful, wordless melodies - in community. Between each nigun, there are moments of silence as we derive emotional, physical, and spiritual meaning from it.

  • Wesleyan Outing Club

    The Wesleyan Outing Club makes the outdoors accessible to the whole of the Wesleyan Community. We provide free, weekly, student-generated outings on which all are welcome. We seek to offer the community knowledgeable, qualified leaders to make outdoor experiences available and raise consciousness about the natural world. The club further facilitates this goal by providing necessary equipment, information and guidance for student-initiated outdoor activities.

  • Wesleyan University Geological Society
    We are a group of dedicated science learners who wish to expand our involvement with geology and the natural Connecticut landscape. We will be having at least five unique activities throughout the semester, ranging from a Rock Identification Competition fundraiser, a "degree fair" at a local Middletown school, to building volcanoes for fun. As far as we are aware, there are no other groups that have this agenda that combines nature with philanthropy and genuine fun.

    WesWhales is an organization that promotes marine conservation. We aim to educate the student body about the inevitable environmental catastrophe coming our way, specifically surrounding the blue planet, and conceptualize possible solutions for this global problem.
